NDC Presented New-Age Diamond Lines at FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week

The FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week, presented by the Natural Diamond Council (NDC), recently showcased RimZim Dadu’s prêt wear collection with the enduring sparkle of modern, elegant natural diamond jewellery.

Distinctive and timeless natural diamond jewellery has been an integral part of slow fashion, and with this show, called A Sea Of A Million Stories, the NDC brought to life new-age craftsmanship by renowned jewellers like Amrapali Jewels, Goenka India, AKM Mehrasons Jewellers, DiaColor, Jaipur Gems and Bholasons Jewellery.

Richa Singh, Managing Director, Natural Diamond Council, India and the Middle East, said: “Natural diamonds are an embodiment of our personal style – versatile, elegant, and one of a kind. We took the same thought forward this year at FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week, with our theme of ‘A Sea Of A Million Stories’. We have showcased intricate craftsmanship and designs that will mould the fashion trends for the year, while bringing to the forefront a more personal experience led by purpose and innovation. People want to celebrate every moment like no other and we wanted their stories, their love, and special memories to shine the brightest. It was exciting to collaborate with a designer as talented as RimZim Dadu whose eclectic designs have an understated elegance and formidable finesse that are timeless and always in trend.”

RimZim Dadu added, “This season I showcased in collaboration with the Natural Diamond Council for FDCI X Lakmé Fashion week; it was a very interesting collaboration for us, as this gave us an opportunity to showcase natural diamond jewellery beyond just regular wedding wear when paired with our signature modern sculpted collection. ‘A Sea of Million Stories’ is the artistic representation of the core ethos of Rimzim Dadu and Natural Diamond Council – that’s love and strength.”
